Pretty as a Princess!

I loved my new princess dress so much I didn't want to take it off. 1st I wanted to dance with Grandma.

Then watch TV with my piggy.

Then play with my doll house.

And read a book. Aren't I a fashion plate?

Spoiled by Grandma and Grandpa!

Last weekend Mommy and Daddy spent time with friends at the cabin and Grandma and Grandpa Nuytten stayed at my house with me. They brought me lots of fun things. Here I am with my new wagon. I like to pull my dollies around in it.

And I got a new dress- so pretty!

And some sidewalk chalk. That's fun!

A weekend getaway at Big Sandy

A week after Miltona, I was missing lake life and had to get up to Big Sandy. We went on a pontoon ride. I'm pointing out the fine scenery to Grandma Pilney.
I liked to watch the waves that the pontoon made. I love boat rides!

Fun with Alex

Here I am playing with Alex in the lodge. We had so much fun and I screamed really loud and really often. Everyone else was enjoying "Steak Night" in the lodge. I passed on the steak and decided to play.

Lake Miltona 2008

Lake Miltona was so fun for me this year. I got in lots of swimming time and made many sand castles. The weather was great as you can see! This is me swimming with daddy. Grandma and I get water for the sand castle.

Mommy's cousin TJ helps me make sand castles. I really liked TJ. I learned his name really fast and I liked to follow him around. I said, "TJ! Go see 'im!" many times!

Water fun with Friends

In the last week of July, I went swimming with my friends Jimmy and Nora. Clara and George were there too, but they are too little to swim. It was lots of fun!

Fun on the Farm!

Last weekend I went to visit Grandma and Grandpa Nuytten on their farm while Mommy and Daddy had a weekend to themselves. I got to golf a little, and here I am discovering a web with dew on it in the morning. I liked to poke them all. I really liked playing with this old toy town of mommy and uncle josh's. That's a pretty old toy!
They even got out the swimming pool for me. I LOVE the water. I can't WAIT to go to Lake Miltona and splash my cousin Kellen!

Here is my little hideout. I am behind the curtain in the dining room, cooling off-as I am sitting right on top of the vent while the air conditioning is on. Mommy caught me talking to myself. Sorry the video is sideways.

Fun at the Cabin

Grandma and Grandpa Pilney had this fishy at their cabin that I just LOVE! Here I am cuddling with it! Daddy had a drumstick- Had is the key word. I decided it was "mine" and finished it.
Mommy and Daddy got me this boat for in the water- but they forgot to take pictures of me using it in the water... here I am using it on land.
I also used it for Saturday morning cartoons. I love Mickey Mouse.
I love to color Mickey Mouse too! (thanks Amy and Paul!)

Ahhhmazing! 4th of July!

OK- so I haven 't stayed up for the fireworks for any of my first 3 Independence Days- but mommy showed me these pics and I thought they were pretty. We went up to Grandma and Grandpa Pilney's on Big Sandy again!

Story Time!

I am like my mommy- I love a good book. Here I am relaxing on the couch reading Elmo's Play Day, a book I got for my birthday from my Great Uncle Jeff and Great Aunt Kris. I love it because it is about bubbles and has buttons that make noise. Ah, this is more comfortable.

Here is a video of me playing with mommy and daddy. At first daddy is scaring me for fun... There was a video much like this when I wasn't even one yet... mommy will have to put it on later... they are strikingly similar. :)

Ice Cream, Daddy!

Whenever daddy has ice cream, I HAVE to have some too. I run over to him yelling, "PLEASE!" it is delicious stuff. Other fun things I do lately-
I know pretty much all of my ABCs. Daddy quizzed me, and I only got 2 wrong- Q and V. I have also graduated from the word "NO" to "No, DON'T DO THAT!"
I like to get people to follow me by saying, "C'mon Daddy!" or "C'mon Mommy" or "C'mon _____" I love to color a lot, but according to me, every color is yellow. Mommy is home with me 3 days a week, so she lets me crawl in her & daddy's bed and we read books. Then I have mommy pretend she is asleep and I tickle her awake. "Teekoe, Teekoe!"

Fun with Cousin Lydia!

My cousin Lydia and I had lots of fun at the cabin this weekend. She helped me sleep really good at night, too, by wearing me out. We watched movies together, ate snacks and ran, ran, ran and ran some more.

Simple Pleasures

With a beautiful dose of weather- it was time to break out the swimsuit and the sprinkler. I LOVED the water- this was my first time running through the sprinkler. This is also proof that it is cute to have a little meat on your bones. :)

Fun in the Sun

When mommy and daddy were playing kickball- I went and stayed at Debbie's across the street. Her daughters did my hair really cute. Then I played outside with mommy and daddy when they got home. Is this a picture of the future basketball star?

Here is my tent I got from Grandma and Grandpa Pilney for my birthday this year... It is finally nice enough to use it, but we had it in the garage because it was so windy!
