Lilly's Party at the Gymnastics Center

Here I am on the big swing with one of Lilly's friends. We got to swing really high, as you can see from the second pic.
This was sooooo fun!
Here is Lilly jumping on one of the many trampolines! She can really jump high!
They had a foam pit. I didn't really want to get in there, I just liked to play with the blocks!

Fun with my Cousin Kellen!

This weekend we went to Sioux Falls for Lilly's 5th birthday party. Here are some pics of Kellen and I having a fun time in the tent. My cousins kept me entertained all weekend... no wonder I was crabby Sunday night when I got home.

Relaxing at its finest!

A sucker, cartoons, and no pants on the lazy boy. What could be better?

Nuytten Fun

Here we are at Kay and Bill's for the Nuytten Fall Bash. They had a swingset, so I got to try out a "big girl swing"! It was so fun! Sami and Alyssa played with me.
I got kind of jealous when daddy was playing with Sami and Alyssa. I wanted to play, too!
Papa Nuytten sat with me on the swing. I love Papa!

A Nuytten weekend

I played at the park with grandma and grandpa Nuytten this weekend. here I am riding the sports car. It sure was fun. Grandpa helps me.
I got a new crown and pretty princess shoes. I'm learning how to walk in my "heels".
I really liked my crown, and I had to put on my princess dress over my jammies so my look was complete.

Cute Pics

I stopped to watch some tv while playing with my train. Mommy thought I looked pretty.
When do parents stop thinking their kids' feet and hands are the most precious thing ever?
Horse-play with daddy is one of my favorite times of the day!
Look at that belly!

Some cute things I've been doing lately: I was pretending to ride my stuffed cow like a horse, so daddy made a horsey noise. I stopped and said, "No Daddy! It's a COW!"

Mommy has also been introducing me to oranges. Since orange is a color I don't know very well, I like to call it a "yellow" or a "pink."

When I "pass gas", I giggle and say "toot-toot", just in case someone didn't notice.

I'm getting better at this "time-out" thing. I've even put myself in time-out a couple of times. My time out spot is upstairs on the couch. I have to just sit there and I don't get down unless mommy or daddy says so... but I ask. I say, "Get down now?"

Ouchies are my new thing- at the littlest thing, I stick out my lip and say "Ow-ee! I got hurt!" Mommy and Daddy are pretty sure I just do it for attention... they are probably right.

I learned to float!

Mommy taught me how to float in the tub! After I learned how, I didn't want to stop. I thought it was really funny.
Here I am just pretending to float. I cheated and put my hands down.
Ooh, am I going to be a backstroker?

Funny stuff.

Here I am relaxing in "my chair" with "my hat". Pretty much everything is "mine" these days.
I've been taking after the boys at daycare that like to play football. Mommy couldn't quite catch it on camera, but I like to squish up my face funny and get into a ready position, then sprint to the other side of the room. It was pretty funny!

Big Girl!

Just and FYI- I am officially in a "big girl bed" as of Sunday, Aug 30th. I did ok my first night, but woke up a couple of times. Then on Monday (Papa Pilney's birthday), I didn't think a nap in my big bed was such a good idea, so I skipped it. Since then I've been doing great. I've been taking my naps at daycare, so we will see how the nap goes on Saturday in my new bed! Wish me (or maybe mommy and daddy mostly) luck!

Labor Day Relaxation

Here is Grandma Pilney and I relaxing on the swing, watching the lake. I was pretty crabby until Grandma had some alone time with me. Then I was happy as can be!

I had lots of fun with the toys on the beach. I am now big enough to crawl on the dock by myself from the sand... which scares mommy a bit... Lifejacket on at all times!

We took a pontoon ride and I made myself a little bed with the towels and relaxed in the sun.

On Sunday I woke up at 5:00, but then needed a nap at about 9:30. I fell asleep on the couch with mommy's Cabbage Patch doll.
